  The fan on my laptop died, I went to get it replaced. I took it in thursday afternoon. They called me wednesday afternoon and told me that they looked at it and the Fan would cost $55 plus an hour and a half of labor. I thought that was kind of steep (in both cost of the fan and time it would take to replace). I am fairly tech savvy and i think if i could have been sure which fan to buy i could have probably replaced it myself in ~20 minutes. I get a call on tuesday (12 days after i took my laptop in) and he charged me $155 dolars. Thats right he charges ~$65/hr for labor, and apparently takes an incredibly long time to do somewhat simple tasks. I understand he has to make a living but this is ridiculous IN SUMMARY-Took him 2 weeks and $155 dollars to do something I probably could have done in about 20 minutes.
